Hello,

I have an 802-11n MBP. I also currently have an old (11g) Airport Express coupled with a verizon-supplied 11g base router. I'm going to buy a time machine and a new 11n-capable airport express for my living room & stereo. I'd like to hook up my old airport express upstairs for my printer.

While I'll only turn on the printer when I need it, will the fact that I have the old airport express degrade my entire wireless connectivity in my house to 11g?

(Should you wonder why, I have an older house and it would be a hassle to move my time machine upstairs.)
