we got 3ghz imac at work and i bought an intel mini that it replaced
my company got a few of those new imacs to replace these mini's there were ppc's too but they were gone quick. so i got the one that i could.
its a 1.66 c1d 2gb ram 60gb hd & leo unfortunately, only things included were power brick, remote and a copy of leo.
so i toyed with boot camp. installed xp home. no problems
question; can i use bootcamp to partition 25 gigs, use 5 gigs for xp and 20 gigs for vista?
question 2 ; along with that when i am able to acquire an intel tiger can i partition and boot that in a similar fashion as in going to windows by holding down opt?

Sure, boot camp/OS X treats each partition as a separate hard drive. You can also install Linux if you want. It's going to be kind of cramped putting all that on that little hard drive though.

question 2 - also yes. Although some newer machines will refuse to boot Tiger, or so I'm told by District IT.

thanks as for the space issue, it's purely for educational fun. once i get an intel tiger it will be strictly that.

Didn't Boot Camp for Tiger "expire"? (As in, the partitioning tool will no longer create new partitions ... as far as I know, the Windows drivers included with it continue to work for previous installations.)
