President Obama

Well, it's settled.  Obama will take the nomination and will beat McCain in November:

So, everyone can get back to discussing global warming now.

Yup. A survey six months in advance of an election is God's honest truth.

I prefer this site, though it still has Clinton doing much better when the race is broken down by state.

Heh - why not?
We have a Bible that is thousands of years old big_smilebig_smilebig_smile

Obama will get the nomination simply because it would be suicide for the democrat party to use the super delegates to give it to Hilary.

As far as who will win the election - I think it will be Obama and I'm OK with that - I don't like McCain.

I feel I should do everything I can to make that happen. Even if it's still a loss, having it that close here should really scare the smurf right out of the state GOP.

Well I know he'll win my county.  You need to get to work, though!

Who is it that has screamed the loudest about how we need to do away with electoral college?
It's been the democrats.

Now - for their own party to ignore what the majority of voters in their party clearly want - you bet your ass that will result in a lot of democrat voter apathy, people staying home because they feel like they just don't matter, and a republican sweep come november.

According to Obama, he was an atheist, but is now a Christian - hence the whole Rev. Wright business. At no point, however; was he a Muslim. Amazingly, there are still some retards running around who really believe that.

The dumbest Obama rumor I heard is that part of his economic plan is to confiscate ALL money anyone in the U.S. makes over $50,000.

Of course, considering the direction that the greenback is headed, who would really care if he did?

Why the panhandlers would, of course. That'll be a good hour's work gone, just like that.

Re: President Obama

He says he's a christer so he can get elected (likely also to keep his wife happy).

I really doubt he abandoned his rationality in that manner. If he did, then that would make the 3 am phone call a critical issue.

What's the difference between a Madrass and a parochial school of any type?

A madrassa is a school, wheras a parochial school caters to a faith.

Yes, and a holocaust is any burned sacrifice, a jihad is any struggle, and if a speaker of English wants to talk about a school he'll say 'school'. Let's not be pedantic here.

So when an english speaker refers to O'Bama attending a "madrassa", the intended meaning is that he attended a religious muslim school, not merely a generic "school" in a majority muslim country. Madrassa means school, unless one wants to imply otherwise.

Re: President Obama

If an English speaker uses the word "madrassa" he is clearly implying something other than a generic "school" - otherwise he would just say "school."
