A "loser" is still popular among a lot of voters. Just because many didn't think he was the best candidate doesn't mean they don't think he's a good candidate. I would have been backing him if Obama weren't running.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Edwards seems as much a "wait and see, drag it out" kind of person as Clinton. He might have done the party a favour by choosing sides earlier.

It's nice that Edwards decided to get off the fence.
The only reason Hillary's staying is is to try and raise enough money to pay off her campaign debt. Otherwise, she's stuck.

I don't think so.
I believe the dems split it up using some formula - IE
Edwards * Obama / (Obama + Clinton) goes to Obama
Edwards * Clinton / (Obama + Clinton) goes to Clinton
or something like that.
