Using MacBook with T-mobile wireless internet?
Hi,
My girlfriend got a MacBook to replace her Windows laptop a few months ago and all has been well, but she just came home from school for the summer and her parents only get internet using T-mobile Wireless internet.
On her windows laptop T-mobile had her using their software to get online/switch between wireless networks. T mobile has no Mac Support but it's unlikely she could get them to switch to a more Mac friendly provider.
Normally they use a pc card but she can switch the SIM card into her cell phone and hook the cell phone to her windows laptop and use it that way. I'd like to know if there is anyway to make it work on the MacBook without any special software from Tmobile.
Her cell phone is a Motorola Razr v3.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Using MacBook with T-mobile wireless internet?
maybe?
Seems detailed enough to be a likely solution, but it was the first Google hit so maybe you've tried already.
Here's another page that mentions connecting it via USB.

Heh. This thread is the number two Google hit. That always seems so weird to me.
