Ethernet?
Tried hooking up a special modem to the computer which would allow me to speak to someone using a land line. But the mac does not have a Ethernet port so I'm kinda stuck.
Why doesn't the iMac come with a Ethernet port?

Re: Ethernet?
I don't believe Apple has ever sold an iMac without an ethernet port.

Re: Ethernet?
No, they haven't.
Do you mean an RJ-11 4-pin phone/modem connector?

Re: Ethernet?
VoIP doesn't... huh...
So you have a VoIP box. It's got - I'm guessing - an ethernet jack to connect to broadband?
How are you connected to the internet? Do you have a router? What's plugged into your macs ethernet port?
