Yeah, they rebuilt their game from the ground up around all-new core tech 'cuz the guy who replaces the bottled water heard about some cool other game. OMG drop everything start over!

My thought was at last a shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously. That and that the characters aren't the boy scouts, super soldiers, or downright evil pricks that are standard fare in these sorts of games.

...but, no. No sign of Vindaloo rocket launchers, land-shark weapons or pubs for re-upping health and ammo in this new game. I'll nab the next $5 copy of A&D I see, if I ever do, if only as a backup.

Ya games have gotten either too serious or too heavy into super soldiers. But what is nice about this one, it retains some seriousness and doesn't go into the Serious Sam level of sillyness. Kinda reminds me of Delta Farce meets Delta Force.

So was Halo 2 at one point. Just because it is currently console only doesn't mean it'll stay that way. It doesn't mean it'll change either but honestly I've seen plenty of people in here who'll take games as they can get them (myself included).

Yes plz. Therey're getting scarce, even the JC Ed. was discontinued months ago. I have a copy, but discs've broken before. And only 13 months ago I saw copies for $5 at Circuit City, when I bought H2V on sale and H-L Ep. 1 for $5.

I found a torr of A&D but it was broken. I need to check my local stores, but I really doubt it penetrated this backwards, inbred market (can you tell I'm sick of the small-town South?)
