True, true, the first preview is. However the first Leopard preview was at least a good 18 months before before Leopard was released so you can't necessarily rely on a speedy release.

Also IIRC it wasn't that long after Tiger was released when Leopard was announced.

The Snow Leopard announcement to Preview release cycle was a bit faster than its Leopard counterpart though.
