Parallels/VMWare question

Is Parallels or VMWare usable with an existing bootcamp install of Windows XP? I Installed Windows XP on it's own drive in my Mac Pro but it's often tiresome to boot to Windows just to get a specific piece of information. To be able to launch it in emulation (I know it's NOT really) would be awesome.

I'd REALLY RATHER NOT reinstall Windows for Parallels or VMware. How does it work?

Re: Parallels/VMWare question

Yes, I know you can use the Bootcamp partition is Parallels and I would imagine you can as well with VMWare.
