Is Apple's sudden response related to negative press?
I'm new to posting here, but I have been reading you guys for a long time. Apple has finally restored partial mail service to MobileMe users and is finally giving official explanations to customers. I posted on the Apple discussions questioning if this sudden openness is in response to David Pogue's and Mossberg's negative reviews and was basically told I was crazy. It does seem odd to me that they are just now after 2 weeks of remaining quiet and secretive about the whole mess finally giving users some kind of an explanation after 2 of their most respected reviewers are critical of the service.
So, is this far-fetched or have some people been drinking too much of the Apple kool-aid and believe that Apple truly can do no wrong?

Re: Is Apple's sudden response related to negative press?
I think Apple is only now confident in giving an explanation that correctly identifies the problem. It's not that they can do no wrong (they obviously did with the MobileMe launch), it's just that I don't think they were totally sure why they were having such massive problems on a product they thought was ready to go on day one.
