Quadruple-Boot? (Vista, XP, Ubunto, & 98SE)

Hey, I recently built a computer, and on my secondary drive, I wanted to have a couple of OSes for testing and using programs that aren't compatible with certain operating systems. So I partitioned a drive 4 ways and proceeded to install Vista 64 bit on the first, Windows XP 32 bit on the second, and Ubunto on the third. Haven't gotten around to getting 98 on there yet, but either way, whenever I boot to that drive (which is all my bios allows for apparently, i can't boot to a partition), I get a Ubunto boot selector that lets me boot to Ubunto, and also gives me options for "Other OS" or "Vista/Longhorn."

If I select other OS, it errors out and says it doesn't find any. If I select the Vista option, XP boots up. So basically, I can't get to Vista, so I'm wondering if there's any way to pull this off. Any help would be much appreciated. smile

Re: Quadruple-Boot? (Vista, XP, Ubunto, & 98SE)

Best general rule I know is from the MS Knowledgebase- on a single drive especially, install order counts, so the respective bootloaders can "see" the other/ earlier OSes. Non-MS first, then reverse chrono order- '98SE, XP, Vista.

Being newer, the respective bootloaders for Vista will recognize XP & '98, and XP's will recognize '98. None will recognize Linux so it gets installed first.
