Depends what kind of work you do, I guess. Works fine for me, tho the Exchange support is kinda bullsmurf. Wow. I can finally get my email. I'm still looking forward to our threatened switch to Zimbra. Anythings gotta be better than Exchange at this point.

As far as battery goes, I think it's the 2.0 software. I used to be able to leave my phone of charge for like 3 days and still have plenty of charge. With 2.0 I have to be sure to charge it every night.

Other than that, there wasn't much in that blurb worth commenting on. Typical uninformed trying to inform other uninformed bullsmurf.

i'm curious about this... and a bit lazy to research myself. i may be working soon for a place that employs Blackberrys for communications and now with Exchange support built-in, it'd be nice just to use my iPhone instead (should they allow it, that is). what makes you say the Exchange support B.S.? does it not work nice? or is this a subjective opinion regarding Exchange in general?

Honestly, I haven't played around with it extensively, but from what I've seen my complaints are more of an "Exchange in general" kind of thing. For one, our IT guy is backed up by a third party that manages the network itself and I dunno if they won't enable something or if this is the way it is...I have to VPN into our network to connect to the exchange server. The first time I did, it automatically synced all of my local calendar items. It synched my little notes to myself about this thing and that thing and to-do's...not stuff I actually wanted my phone to remind me about. I can't seem to get them to sync the other way, but that may be because I didn't want them syncing to my phone in the first place. But anyhooz, no matter what I do I can't seem to get it to sync our big conference room schedules, or more importantly, the items on teh conference room schedules that I have been invited to.

Basically, I love the way my iPhone works but the Exchange features do not seem to work the same. At all.

I haven't been to work in a while tho. I'll check it out further when I get back.

i hate to put the onus on you about that, but i'd really appreciate more of your feedback. if you'd rather PM me later about further testing and whatnot, that's cool.

They're about to launch Lotus Notes for iPhone.  That'll be a help for some iPhone users.
