Re: What happen?

All of the posts made within the last ~9 hours are gone.

It looks like someone screwed up the database and then restored from an earlier copy.

It also marked as new messages I already read earlier today.

Something definitely went wrong somewhere.

They were marked as new because they were new to you in the backup version from this morning.  Anything posted after that is gone.

Re: What happen?

Hi everyone,

Well I guess you all noticed that most of today's posts have disappeared. While backing up the site, there was a problem and we lost data. This happened on both the forum and main site.

Long story short, everything posted post-6 a.m. central time is gone forever. I'm sorry about any inconvenience this may cause.

Damn it!  My hard drive was failing and I posted my doctoral thesis here as a last ditch effort to save it.  Now this? I demand restitution!

Re: What happen?

I never go to a sit down lunch while at work. I usually just grab something and eat at my desk. But today I figured, "What the hell." As soon as I left, KABOOM!

I'll never leave my desk again.

Live dangerously! Type one the command line as fast as you can and press return rapidly.  wink

No need. Special desks are being installed, plumbing and cuffs included.

As long as I liquify all food, the Stadium Buddy is all I need.

Re: What happen?

No but the fact it's been down enough recently to remind us of of those bygone eras speaks volumes.

I don't know who wrote that wiki article, but us pilots use this: http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm … uct_ID=297 ... or just land and find a real bathroom.
