If they want to get HC supporters of the "any woman at all in office" type, that could work.
However, there's a real possibility she could end up as President...wouldn't they get their righty-tighties all in a bunch about that?

Hmm, interesting. It seems the McCain camp might leak the name of his running mate tonight, shortly before Obama's speech.
Damn clever. It leaves news editors with a tough decision -- which story to cover. If this really does happen, expect split screens and whatnot.

Expect plenty of speculation about the possible leak, anyway.

There's probably a lot of Sore Looserman paraphernalia already printed up that we can use.

I can't believe that CNN.com just now has a huge "BREAKING NEWS" banner about how his choice is not Pawlenty, when the media was reporting that at least an hour ago when I was driving to work.

I almost posted Sarah Palin yesterday, but thought 'what do I know?' But it looks like she is a contender.
It would be a smart move, less because of the Hillary coalition and more because it makes McCain's ticket look less like an old horse.

Do we find out in ~6 months that both were asked, and declined ?
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

Apparently Rove contacted Lieberman earlier and requested that he take himself out of the running, for the good of America.

So Rove is afraid that McCane is going to pick Shoeless Joe despite Rove's sage advice not to?

Sarah Palin, former beauty queen... McCain sure has a distinct preference, doesn't he?

Campaign contributions are a "scandal" that every politician in Washington is a part of.

Politics of change baby. Looks like it will be conservatives attempting to crack that glass ceiling and not the dems.
I like the pick a lot actually. She was my number two pick after Romney.
