Here's a question. Does anyone own a movie on dvd that they like alot but don't watch it much (as a dvd). However, when it comes on tv you watch it with regularity whenever it comes on?
No. The words "Edited for content" make that decision easy.

Ive spent a lot of time traveling lately and so the only movies I have had repetitive access to is what I had stored on my laptop at the time I left home. heh.

Re: movies you watch over and over
Let's see:
Black Hawk Down
King of New York
The Wild Bunch
Predator
The Fifth Element
Ikiru
Resident Evil
Whew! Lots of violent, macho movies. Maybe I need to chill. I have other favorite movies but I've watched the above at least several times. "King" not so much although I think it's one of Christopher Walken's best movies. I saw it first on the big screen but it never did get widespread distribution. It's stylized ultra-violence. The director's wife (and other people) walked out of the the opening screening.
I'm not a doctor but I'll take a look!

Cause the seasons change was a conduit And we left our love in our summer skin

Matrix trillogy
Harry Potter Movies
Blankman
Most of the Pixar movies, don't show me Finding Nemo or the Bug movie, I'll slap ya.
Young Frankenstein- as well as other Mel Brooks movies
Constantine- Don't ask me why.
Better off Dead
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
etc...
I did find myself watching Harry Potter on tv the other night, about a day after berating my dad about watching it on tv when I had the dvd's.

Fun things to do with slightly older movies -
look them up on IMDB
Click on the various actors - and look at what other movies they've done.
It brings back memories of movies you haven't seen in ages.
IE - I watched Predator last night.
I clicked on the "Carl Weathers" link - and found "Action Jackson"

Or you could watch a Biography channel special on someone, like, say Eddie Murphy, and then go watch the movies you've never seen of his. For instance, I've never seen Beverly Hills Cop until two days ago. Glad I did.

Guess it runs in the family. However, Mark Hamill has gone on to be a very successful voice actor. Whereas Jake Lloyd...?

that was actually one of his better movies (they are better when he doesn't try and play most of the roles himself)
of course 2 and 3 were a total waste of film

I swear Eddy Murphy was in "Spies Like Us" - as an uncredited cameo at the beginning.
