A way for multiple users to edit published iCal calendars...?
I need to create a calendar in iCal that can be edited and published by both myself and my fiance. We have separate Mac portables and separate MobileMe accounts and we both need to be able to edit and publish changes to the same calendars. As I said, we have MobileMe, however, MobileMe only lets you subscribe to someone else's calendar, not edit it. The only solutions that I've found are:
buy a new iMac to go along with our portables and install Leopard Server on it so that I can have iCal Server (seems a bit overambitious for just iCal server.)
purchase Busy Sync, which works well, but doesn't totally play well with Mobile Me calendar syncing and publishing. (I've corresponded with the developers who gave me a workaround, but it may be more of a workaround that what I'm willing to do.)
Does anyone have any knowledge of another app that can accomplish this?
Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

Re: A way for multiple users to edit published iCal calendars...?
i'm using busysync and it's working ok. but i'm only using it to keep my google calendars synced with iCal so i can read/write from either, and since they're in iCal they're also pushed to my iPhone via MobileMe.
there's a free trial, so you might want to play around with it and see if it'll fit your needs. you could even have a google calendar be the "middleman" and then use busysync on each mac to keep it in sync with that Mac's iCal.

iSynCal
Product Description:
iSynCal is built to synchronize events and todo from iCal calendars between two or more Mac computers using the standard Apple File Sharing shipped with Mac OSX. Using iSynCal, you no longer need a .Mac account neither to publish your calendars on an external FTP or WebDav server.

You can even use iSynCal to sync your iCal calendars with your iPod or between multiple users on the same Mac.
It is also possible to schedule the synchronizations and run them in unattended mode.
Computers never do what you want them to do; only what you tell them to do.
