Memory question on iMac

I have a 24 inch 2.4 iMac that has 2 gigs of memory in it , I just ordered 4gigs and was wondering if I will see any changes in speed  ? I am very happy with the speed of my machine, but when I have alot of things open should I see a decrease in the beachballs I get ? Like I said the machine is great but I was thinking more memory would be a good thing, I heard OSX loves memory.

Re: Memory question on iMac

It will be snappier. You may not even realize where the speed is, but it will be faster in most things.
