iBook G3 500 split from zombie
i have an ibook g3 500 which i downgraded to panther from tiger to see if it would run faster. well it is running a little faster but i bet there is a sweet spot that i am not aware of as far as what version of panther runs best on this machine.... anybody know? i know that when i blindly updated everything according to software update i ran into some issues. so i reinstalled and have done no updating yet so i am just sitting here at 10.3. i'm sure someone out there can help me so thanks in advance.

pop in panther .. install ... connect to internet ... install all updates ... you will be at the sweet spot for that machine.
oh and why didn't you just make a new thread instead of posting in this zombie thread.
