Human milk has different fat, protein, and sugar composition than cow's milk. It wouldn't taste the same or work the same in recipes.

I just don't see how they think this is possible on a large scale. A single restaurant maybe but a national chain?

There is no problem with PETA that a mob armed with baseball bats couldn't solve.

Re: it would be one interesting assembly line

I don't think PETA can fathom how much milk it takes to make things like ice cream and cheese.  It can take over 10 gallons of milk to make a single pound of cheese.  I don't think women are going to want to strap on the machine to produce milk just to "save a few cows".   One cow can produce up to 15 gallons of milk a day.  A woman could maybe do a half gallon in time.

I like how they link cow's milk to all sorts of health problems.  I drank a gallon a day for the last 25 years and had no issues.  I agree with Pariah.  lol

Well, if there are 9 million cows in the US, we could completely implement such a proposal by cloning and/or breeding an additional 270 million female humans, whom we would have to keep perpetually pregnant and brainwash into being completely and totally submissive and lacking in free will.

Hmmm...

(I'm kidding.)

They don't have to be pregnant to lactate. But they do have to be kept isolated.

Or are you referring to PETA?

That's why we would just graze them - like we do cattle.

Re: it would be one interesting assembly line

Isn't this offensive to women? I mean, save the cows, abuse the human females...?

Did the PETA women offer their own breast milk to save the cows?

Why human milk and not, say, soy milk?

I'd agree with Pariah, but they should really be forced to make the ice cream with human milk and eat it.

Re: it would be one interesting assembly line

ok. I have found few words...

100% of any woman that follows or is a member of PETA has to be milked till she dies.

you either follow the PETA rules or not.
start with the old bag that wrote that letter.
milk her till she shrivels up and dies then use her for soylent green. another project I am sure she would approve of.

They don't actually want B & J to use human milk. They're trying to make a point that cow's milk is for baby cows, not humans. PETA would prefer we all switch to soymilk.

They are blissfully unconcerned about the cries of captive plants being yanked out of the ground for harvest.

we decapitate our rice when we harvest.
the bodies just get plowed under for fertilizer.

that's not how I read the letter

PETA wrote:

Won't you give cows and their babies a break and our health a boost by switching from cow's milk to breast milk in Ben and Jerry's ice cream? Thank you for your consideration.
