Dumb Question
Did ID ever come out with expansion pack (Resurrection of Evil) of Doom 3 for Mac?

No. By the time Aspyr (not iD) could've done the port, IIRC, it was judged to not have enough profit potential, close enough. You might try the IMG Forums, where I recall it being discussed.

Seems fairly consistent to me. What are you seeing?.. from #11 on, the consensus seems to be that, while MP can work as a Mod, SP crashes, likely disabled by design. Won't work on OSX.

#2 says yes, #7 says maybe no, #8 says yes, #10 says only MP, #12 says no, #13 says no.
More nos than yes but those that did say yes 1) how did they get it to work or 2) are they even playing the same game.
One thousand years are burned everytime 10 million play WoW for an hour.

#7 got it to work, but then #10 (who is also #7) recanted, saying that "only multiplayer works."
But I know it won't work (single-player, at least), because I recall that id modified the game engine to add support for things like slow motion effects. There's a good chance it'll work with Cider, though (but that's my answer for everything).
