HTML Email Authoring on the Mac?
What's the best way to setup, test, and send an HTML Email (for an Email Blast) that you first designed/authored using a program such as Dreamweaver or GoLive? Wouldn't you have to insert (copy/paste) it into an Email program? I see no obvious way to do so in Apple's Mail. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Should be sent via a script. There are other ways as well. You can make a page, load it in Safari or Internet Explorer, and then use the functionality in either one to send the current page as an email. Each one will make modifications on the page, though, so those methods will differ from if a script sends the email. Find out how the email will be blasted out and match that method in your testing.

What I'm looking for is a way to send it directly from an email program -- such as Apple's Mail. I've done this before, a long time ago, using an old emailing program (I think it was Netscape Navigator/Communicator).
I know certain email apps (such as Outlook Express on the PC) with allow for the setup of an HTML email -- ie., inserting HTML code directly inside the message. It doesn't look like Apple Mail can do this. But I definitely want to do this from an Email Program not from a Web Browser. Someone must know what I'm talking about.

Why would you want to inflict HTML upon someone's email client? If you are doing mass mailings there are better solutions.

Many organizations and business's utilize HTML emails as part of their events, newsletter, or marketing campaigns. Not all HTML email is spam. That depends on how it's used and if the recipient wants it or not. The important thing is having an option to discontinue them (opt out), if desired. There are plenty of normal and legitimate uses for HTML email. I even get HTML based product emails from Apple because I requested it. I'm asking about it because I'm getting requests for how to set them up.

Mail doesn't support it (except through the stationery option). Looks like Thunderbird does though.
