MCCAIN'S HARVEST
Vandalized ACORN offices in Boston and Seattle and threats of death or violence in Providence and Cleveland follow in the wake of McCain's bogus "vote fraud" scam.

Death threat, vandalisim
By Greg Gordon | McClatchy Newspapers
WASHINGTON — An ACORN community organizer received a death threat and the liberal activist group's Boston and Seattle offices were vandalized Thursday, reflecting mounting tensions over its role in registering 1.3 million mostly poor and minority Americans to vote next month.
Attorneys for the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now were notifying the FBI and the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division of the incidents, said Brian Kettenring, a Florida-based spokesman for the group.
Republicans, including presidential candidate John McCain, have verbally attacked the group repeatedly in recent days, alleging a widespread vote-fraud scheme, although they've provided little proof. It was disclosed Thursday that the FBI is examining whether thousands of fraudulent voter-registration applications submitted by some ACORN workers were part of a systematic effort or isolated incidents.
Kettenring said that a senior ACORN staffer in Cleveland, after appearing on television this week, got an e-mail that said she "is going to have her life ended."
A female staffer in Providence, R.I., got a threatening call from someone who said words to the effect of "We know you get off work at 9," then uttered racial epithets, he said.
McClatchy is withholding the women's names because of the threats.
Separately, vandals broke into the group's Boston and Seattle offices and stole computers, Kettenring said.

Wow, I never knew the California constitution was so attractive.
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

You were born on 9/6/93?
Man, do you really believe that? That was a joke.

Well let's also say, I don't want it spoken in school that it's o.k. for Jack to marry Larry to my child. Because that is against my views and that is part of this prop.
Like I said before, this could go on and on, I'll end my responses here on the subject. The prop says it is OK for Jack to marry Larry to your child?
Larry who?
And does the prop say it is ok for Jack to marry Larry just to your child, or is it OK for Jack to marry Larry to anyone's child?
I am assuming that Jack is licenced in the state of California to perform weddings.
You want the prop to forbid people in your child's school to talk about your child's wedding to Larry?
Excuse me, spelling & writing error. it should read: I don't want it spoken in school that it's o.k. for Jack to be married to Larry to my child. (sorry about the writing and spelling error)
But... Still, thats my choice, and don't think the state or any form of government has the right to tell me I have no right in the matter on what the school can tell my child in the school. And that is part of this prop.

Shouldn't it be his child's choice whether or not he marries Larry?
Of course, if he is only 15 himself I seriously doubt that any of this comes into play; any child he could possibly have would be at most three or four years old. I don't think there is ANY state that allows marriage that young even with parental consent.
And CG5Addict has already said that he doesn't approve of Larry. Or is it just Reverend Jack who you object to, CG5Addict?
Never did say how old I or my child really was.
But I also may not express my views clearly and not pick up on peoples tone on my computer. I have been off it for a while, while I get my new Mac pro. Also I work alot and only recently have I had a few weeks off to be in the forums. But also, I don't hide behind a computer screen and have comments like "where you dropped on your head as a child?".
These are things you could only get away with in a forum, meeting up with me your tone might be a little differant. Free thoughts in these forums is one thing, being a complete a** is another. Been in these forums for a long time, (changed my nick when I got my G5) met a lot of nice people, and been to [MA]LAN party with my son where I got to meet people from these forums. But now these days this forum seems to be going down the smurf, and that's sad.

I don't recall that topic prior in this thread. I'd prefer not to ever entertain it.

Which prop? I went back and read it, it doesn't say anything about what should or shouldn't be taught in school.
