Hey, I think it's frickin' great.  McCain has apparently lost control over his campaign's message, and everyone seems to be looking out for themselves at this point (and leaking embarrassing information to the media accordingly).  It's particularly hilarious because it's about the self-proclaimed "hockey mom" "joe-sixpack".

I'm sure it does.
Do you think every Democrat and every Obama donor is happy with every single move the Obama campaign has made?

I bet I could dig up cases where they are not.
I'm not going to, though, because it would be just as silly as this argument and just as silly as the Joe 911 argument.

What's "silly" about what I said?

This makes the McCain campaign look foolish, donors and GOP strategists have noted that this was a stupid move, especially because of Palin's claims about being "joe-sixpack."

What are you disputing?  Are you suggesting that this story hasn't hurt or embarrassed his campaign?  No?  Then  we're in agreement.

...and just as silly as the Joe 911 argument.

Then why so unwilling to call that what it was?  The facts were all there, he apologized for doing what he did...there really wasn't any room for an alternate interpretation.

I did call it what it was. In my first post of that thread.

What you claimed was "possible" really wasn't.

You are entitled to your opinion.
I did state that what he did was a crime, and stated what he should have done.
It's still not *that* big of a deal, and has absolutely no bearing on his brother.

That kind of thing happens all the time isn't newsworthy.
I guess it was newsworthy because he is related to someone of interest, but it certainly means squat about John's ability to be president.

If Joe had arrived on the scene of a burning ghetto apartment building and ran in to save six babies single handedly before the fire department arrived, would that make John a better President?

No.

His poor phone manners and mis-use of the 911 system similarly means squat about John's ability to lead the country.

I don't think bratty can imagine life without threads like this.
