Re: Graphics intensive games

ES4:Oblivion should still be on the list, I think. It can still push videocards, esp. if you alter the .cfg file to set some variables really high. Part of it looks like (this might be from AT)

Re: Graphics intensive games

F.E.A.R. is pretty high, isn't it?  And lets not forget Halo 3, which I'll probably never play on account of its Vista requirement.

Pretty high, but also pretty playable on today's better hardware.

H3 hasn't even been announced for PC. Halo 2 is Vista-only, but it was a boneheaded decision to sell Vista/ Games For Windows Live, which was Vista-only at that time. It's 'only' DX9, tho purty, and probably has a lower min spec. I'd have to check after all this time.

Re: Graphics intensive games

I thought I'd throw this post in my own thread.

I recently installed 10.5.6.  My frames per second on Medal of Honor Spearhead has doubled.  mrgreen

Re: Graphics intensive games

It's a post about Mac OS X improving gaming. I'm gonna print it, frame it, and put it on my wall. big_smile

Ok, but it's a post about an update to OSX improving gaming on OSX, on an old game. Bit of a stretch, but...

You'll probably want to 'Shop out this post. smile
