About the Magazine

I consider canceling every month; and every month, I decide to "give M|L another chance. Yet, month after month the issue contains nothing that really interests me or that holds my attention beyond the first paragraph.

UNFORTUNATELY, my husband did not realize that of the magazines I wanted to renew and the ones I didn't want to renew - M|L was in the pile to "let it die, already".

All this magazine seems to be is a bunch of ADS for sh--+ that somebody seems to think I need to buy - and very little to do with WHAT I can do with the Apple-stuff that I already own.

There are a LOT of "older" Ti / Al books out in the world that are still loved by the people that own them, and still run as well as they did the first day they were cracked open and powered on. As much as these things cost, one would hope that they would last a long time - which they do when properly maintained.

I would have liked to have seen more articles on upgrades and maintenance of our older yet still very much usable machines (along with what's new and what rates as tops).

There is nothing in the magazine that I can't find on-line (here or wherever else).

My question is, if I did cancel, would we be refunded the 3 year subscription price or would that money be as gone as my interest in reading it?

*yes, I realize that the content DOES interest many, and it is probable that I am obviously not in the target audience they are hoping to capture. I have no problems with anyone who does "heart" the magazine. I just have to say that I have been disappointed for some time now.

Re: About the Magazine

Split off from scam sticky since, well, this isn't about that scam. Let me know if you'd prefer a different topic title - i just kind of made it up.

Re: About the Magazine

Hmmm, have you thought about getting rid of your husband and keeping the magazine subscription? Wasn't it him who got you into this pickle?

But seriously,  I think I remember reading something about a 30 day return policy, where if you are unhappy within the first 30 days you can ask for a refund.  I could be wrong. I tried to do a quick check to find that information now but couldn't get my hands on it.

Have you tried customer service?  click on the CS link on the bottom of this home page, enter your account information and then you can email a CS rep a question.

Let me/us know what happens.  I've had mixed experiences with CS, sometimes it's been fast other times tortoise slow, although I have the digital publication, so that may be a different outfit that handles those queries.

Oh, the ads don't bother me and I like seeing what is new and on the horizon.
