Within the Aka tribe of Africa, male lactation and breastfeeding are commonplace and widely accepted; fathers and mothers generally exchange turns nursing their children and think nothing of it.

Regarding Aka people, it doesn't seem the fathers actually lactate their babies. They just let their babies to suck their nipples when the moms are out and the babies are cranky.

Oddly enough, I had a close call with this. I developed a lump in my left breast, necessitating the need for a biopsy. Breast cancer in males is not only possible, it's usually fatal, mostly because it's found so late in the course of the disease. Women normally find out much early, thus they have a more positive survival rate.

That's all there is on it, tho. No further links, nothing on how, and elsewhere in the article it's noted that it usually requires unusual circumstances or measures. Ah well.

This article points out that in the Aka tribe what the men do is have babies suck on their nipples, not breatfeed (even though the author often calls it the latter, probably for brevity) and that it is a common practice among the Aka. This is one of the articles linked from the Wikipedia page on the Aka specifically referring to this behavior.

I don't have any assumption what you'd vote, that's why I asked. I even think you might find this kind of marriage more agreeable, or at least tolerable.
