Snow
Here we go again. 4th and 5th snow storms coming up. Tonight 1-3 inches. 6-12 inches by Wednesday morning. Flurries are predicted most everyday for a week.
Wisconsin state and county road crews have cut way back on the plowing and salting. If the road is not a state or US highway, you can expect the road to be ice covered enough to keep your speed to 45 mph.

Re: Snow
Some people insist it's cold and wet. I've never found it so on my TV. But then I've FIOS now, and I never have snow.
It probably is the same as pixie dust.

Boston's first snow of the season today. Just a few flakes and a dusting on some cars and shrubs.

Re: Snow
I live in eastern Maine and we've gotten a couple of light dustings of snow in the last few days. Today was very cold and tonight the temperature is supposed to drop to about 4 degrees F. Yet on Wednesday, the forecasters are calling for temperatures about 50 degrees F.
Go figure.

Re: Snow
It snowed last night across much of Southern Minnesota, the first significant snowfall of the season.
I had a gig in St. Paul last night, under normal conditions even during rush hour it should take no more than 90 minutes to get where we needed to go. It took us 3 hours. Okay, part of that was my fault, the address of the place we were going to was 300 and I entered 900 into my iPhone, but really that only added about 15 minutes to our trek.
I smurfing hate driving in snow. HATE it!
I love it when it snows and I have no place to go, even in the heaviest snow I can break out the snowshoes and still get to my neighborhood liquor store.

Some pay and for some we do each other's areas depending on who gets there first.
One of my old neighbors had surgery yesterday so tack on 2 extra hours for his 150 yard long driveway.

Breaking news. A blue norther is screaming down the panhandle here in Texas. Temperatures are dropping to the low 30's tonight and tomorrow night. But we should be in the 50 to 60's through the days.
