I miss the old video streaming...
(Although these live "text streams" are better than nothing
Besides, it will aparently be "all Mac" which is a pleasure to my ear.

I hope GarageBand gets some cool new features - they kind of phoned that one in last time.
I believe in Karma. That means I can do bad things to people all day long and I assume they deserve it.

The last app he’s going to talk about in iLife ‘09 is Garageband. It’s the most “exciting” feature, and a “true breakthrough”, which will help people to play a musical instrument. It’s called “Learn to play.”

I guess that's pretty cool, though not really useful for me. I'll be happy if it just lets me change meters or key signatures mid-song.

There’s a $50 anti-glare option on the glossy screens for higher-end customers. They have to remove the bezel from the front, and build it in, which explains the $50 surcharge.

Chris Pirillo had an audio stream, but it went down a few minutes ago during the battery video.
So now it's just live web updates.

Re: Official MWSF '09 Topic
they are claiming 5 year battery life but if you use the laptop everyday you use up those 1000 charges in less then 3 years. I guess they figure you will only charge your laptop once every 1.82 days

Apple gave up to the music industry
There was one pricing model for all songs, 99 cents, but music companies want more flexibility. Starting in April, we're gonna give more flexibility with 3 pricing tiers: 99 cents, 69 cents, and $1.29
I bet it is the music industry making Steve sick, giving him drugs and/or poison. They must have him locked up in a basement feeding him meat.

Well, the music industry gave in too. They'd been holding the DRM thing over Apple's head for a while. Apple finally gets better quality and no DRM, the labels get variable pricing. And we just wait out the labels and buy the song when the price goes down to acceptable levels.
