Re: Converting office docx documents to adobe indesign?? how??
InDesign (at least the newer incarnations) import Word docs pretty well, and from there you can tweak text, layout, colors etc. to your heart's content. If your version of InDesign can't handle Docx files, there's a converter from Microsoft that will make that Docx open in older versions of Word. At least, on the Winders side there is, you might have to use an online converter first & then import the resulting .doc into Indy.

CS4 can import Docx. CS3 and below could not. My guess is the word file contains a font you don't have, or some other format issue. Open the word file with Illustrator cs4 if you have it or drop it on an free Online PDF maker like this one.
