Troubleshooting Mail Setup

I am trying to set up my current email account to work with the mail application provided by apple.  My email is through my college (afs164@stu.aii.edu).  I don't know what my incoming or outgoing mail servers are. I also am not sure what my server is... i think its POP.  Help would be appreciated

You need to get that info from your school as we would not know it.

Re: Troubleshooting Mail Setup

After three years I am having a second (same) problem with my mac mail. When I click on "get mail", the blue "mail activity" bar streams across and "48 of 48 Incoming Messages" appear for about two seconds. This, I believe is normal. However the messages never are down loaded. I go to "webmail" and can see (and read) the 48 messages. Two hours with my internet provider never solved the problem. I was told to contact Apple's tech support. Any similar problems or suggestions?

Re: Troubleshooting Mail Setup

Mail just began working properly for the 1st time in years a few months back. This is one program that still needs plenty of work.
