Bootcamp killed my MAC
I have Leopard on my MAC and tried to install Bootcamp, after installation it said to restart my computer which I did and when it came back half of the applications were gone and I can't figure out how to get them back.
I have resolved to run the recovery disc, unfortunately it will not allow me to type in my password, where the password should be typed I get continu:confused:ous periods, like someone has their finger on the period key and it just keeps typing periods, delete does not work at all. In order to run the recovery disc I need to be able to type in my password before installation - Any Suggestions?

Re: Bootcamp killed my MAC
On your OS X install disk, (somewhere in the menus) there is a "reset administrator password". Use that.
To boot from the install disk: 1) insert disk 2) start or restart the Mac 3) hold down the "C" key immediately and keep holding it for about a minute (depending on the speed of your Mac).
