That was the only thing funny about it.

Liar! No one ever laughs at SNL!

Oh, it's got Will Ferrell in it. That explains it.

That particular skit was rather lame.
They have had some really good ones, however.
At least in the past - I don't watch it anymore.

Was that Drew Barrymore getting in the tub with them?

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

OK Matt, that first one? Not outrageously funny, and it suffered from the same lazy decisions that ruin half of SNL's skits.

Plus, Hulu made me watch a commercial. I hate that. But I'll try clicking the next one in your list, 'cause I have no life and desperately need a reason to laugh.

Now one of the Hulu videos will load. No matter which one I choose, the page just sits there, perpetually "loading video."

God, I hate Hulu!

I like Hulu.

And now it's part Disney, reportedly 1/3. Oops, that's news...

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

The past few SNL casts have been too sober, sane, moderate, and professional to be funny.

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

I recently saw a clip featuring Aykroyd aa a GOP bigwig strategising with some kind of political group. It was so painfully unfunny I almost wept blood.

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

Damn.

The best thing you can say about SNL is that it's not MadTV.

The best thing you can say about MadTV is that it's not In Living Color.

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

Aww come on...the first three seasons of In Living Color was the best comedy skit show of all time!  Keenan, Damon, Jamie Foxx, and David Allen Greer were all on top form.  Kelly Coffield is the funniest white girl who can't keep a beat!  Jim Carey when he was still funny...

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

Oh come on. MadTV was great back in the day. Ironically it just ended recently... and I had no idea it was still on.

SNL had its great stuff earlier on too, but my favorite stuff was in the 90's.

For me, MadTV died when Will Sasso left. And SNL died when Will Ferrell and Cheri O'terri left. Even Bobbi Lee couldn't save MadTV's later seasons. And I like Bobbi Lee.

Re: Whoa- somebody actually LAUGHING at an SNL skit?

You know there really are people like Judy Grimes running around out there in the real world. Maybe not the exact, same behaviors, but close enough.
