To be fair It was a beta, and it's not a big deal, but still...
Not even an option.
Seems you can get tabs on top with the terminal. You daredevils can try at your own risk (I won't)

Re: Safari 4 (non beta) tabs
What I really miss is the ability to drag a window into a new tab in another window. You can still go from tabbed window to tabbed window ... but I and figure out how to do that with a window that has tabs hidden without showing the tabs

I just noticed that, I think too many people whined about wha my tabs are on top now after they tried the beta version out. But in all honesty I liked them up there as you had more viewable area by using the sapce at the top already there rather than using a separate space below.
And unlike safari 3, you dont have the option of making the tab bar underneath always remain visible. Which is really awkward and annoying always having your viewing space change from a window having tabs to a window with no tabs.
The feedback link is gone now, so I can't complain about that to them.

Do you think the beta is better. I still haven't changed to the complete.

Re: Safari 4 (non beta) tabs
I prefer the tabs on top too but can see how it can be difficult for many people, especially when they have to deal with alternate browsers as a consequence of your job, what you are working on, or what sits you are visiting. Still an option to plan them up top if you want would be preferable.

What are the keyboard shortcuts to move from tab to tab? I can't decipher the given shortcut.

Re: Safari 4 (non beta) tabs
Thanks for the reply, that works wonderfully.
I wonder why the given shortcut is ^ with a right arrow with a line after it, which i interpret to mean control + right arrow/tab.

Re: Safari 4 (non beta) tabs
You can also accomplish that by using control and tab. (I believe that's the symbol for the tab key)

Re: Safari 4 (non beta) tabs
Better yet just hide the dock so that it only shows when your put the pointer at the middle bottom of the screen.

There's a big security hole in the beta.

Dock Icons show status. (You have 3200 unread messages, you have zero free memory, etc etc)
