Controlling a Roomba with AppleScript

I just finished an AppleScript studio project to control my iRobot Vacuum Cleaner via bluetooth. There is a wireless camera mounted to the top of the Roomba so I can take pictures around the house and send them to me while I am away. I would be happy to share the code with anyone who requests it. Details are here http://www.larryshearon.com/RoombaContr … ation.html .

Updated 10/31/10 - Have greatly modified the hardware and software. Added an Arduino processor between my Macintosh and the Roomba. Now it can follow a track of blue painter's masking tape around the house without deviating. Details and new software here

Re: Controlling a Roomba with AppleScript

Nice!  I've always considered doing this with my Roomba.
