Re: Court rules unaniamously for Franken
Big smurfing deal, they can show all the "Crazy Al" ads they want and it won't change the fact that he is in office and will stay there for the next 5 years. It's just a bunch of sour grapes.

But they can raise funds from outraged righties to combat this Crazy Al caricature.
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.

He will be in on health care, education and judiciary. At least.

Out of desperation the RNC has to keep it's shriveled base agitated. Unfortunately in doing so they come off as whirling dervishes of anger, shooting at everything that moves.
Which only alienates the critical swing voters who are tired of that tired old bullsmurf.

I think it's funny that the GOP is making light of Al Franken being a former comedian, but the Republican Governor of the great state of "Cahleeforneea" is a former action movie star...

And we should never forget that the patron saint of the GOP was a B-movie star best known for co-starring with a chimpanzee.

Hey! That is totally uncalled for!

AFAIK Nancy wasn't an actress, but Jane Wyman certainly was.

Sure she was Rob.
By 1949 she was working in Hollywood, and she eventually made 11 movies, including East Side, West Side (1949), Shadow on the Wall (1950), and Hellcats of the Navy (1957), in which she starred with Ronald Reagan.

At least Ronnie managed to finish two terms as Governor of California. He didn't just quit part of the way into his first term...

Of course Ronnie didn't quit as governor. He was a quitter. Totally not concerned with fixing America.
