The Finder not remembering folder views.
Ah, huge one for me. Also finder not generating previews for certain images for no clear reason.
I have a theory about those missing Icons.
I believe they are caused by corrupt icon data because if you run a delete preview icon action on the folder and then let the previews rebuild they all will show.
It is a damn shame that The Finder as never been a priority in OSX. Even in 10.5 it still feels like a beta.

Re: Worst Mac Bug?
Screen Saver can fail to exit in leopard, resulting in no alt-tab, no expose functioning, lots of other odd things
Thankfully the fix for this is merely putting the computer to sleep and waking it.

Re: Worst Mac Bug?
For me it is a screensaver/beachball nightmare. Desktop Background, not so much. But every time I go to Screensavers, the beachball begins until I force quit.
Everything else in my OS works like a dream.
I have tried trashing prefs, plists, and numerous calls to Support. No solution. Still a mystery to me.

What ScreenSaver happens to be trying to load? I've had ScreenSavers corrupt and kill Sys Prefs before.

It always goes to "Flurry"

Re: Worst Mac Bug?
Yep. Had that happen.
First step, see if you can remove Flurry from its place in the Library and see if it still happens. (Delete the prefs that store the current saver as well)
Try reinstalling just the screensavers if it stops.

How do you put the computer to sleep with a black screen? I've had this happen a lot to me.

Six iterations in and Apple finally gets around to fixing the app that is the foundation of the user experience?
I will believe it when I see it with my own eyes.
Sad thing is after all this time broken and most users being switchers, damn few Mac users even know what a good working file browser/manager is.
