I need to convert .mov files to .wmv files for web use
I need to convert Quicktime files to .wmv and I would like to do it for free lol. I am finding programs that are between $30-$60 and I don't really want to spend that for such a simple thing. I have Final Cut Studio 2 and I am shocked that it is not an option (that I can see at least) to make a .wmv file
Is there any decent Freeware out there that does this without being some lame trial that only does half of my clip?
Any help would be great

do you mean that you need to convert quicktime to .wmv?

No; why would Apple make it so you could export to competing web formats? Your best bet is to buy the standard export version of Flip4Mac.
Then you will have the export option in Compressor.
It isn't going to happen for free.

Lol yeah I edited my post I did mean .wmv
I understand that it is competing formats but I fugured in the Pro Apps that should not matter since it is one of the most common web formats. I can't even find freeware from 3rd parties to do it

And you won't because Microsoft charges licensing fees. Flip4Mac is your best bet.

Handbrake is free, but I'm not sure if you would know how to use it....

Handbrake doesn't make WMVs
