Laptop Security on Travel
When I log on to WiFi at the airport or hotel I see a bunch of laptops in the Finder under shared.
In one case I recognized a person's laptop that was staying at a different hotel down the street.
How do I keep others from seeing my lapttop "Eddie's Macbook" from showing up like others do?
Thanks,

If your on a public network, there is nothing you can do to stop yourself from showing up as being on that network. (Unless you hack the OS to disable Bonjour which I don't recommend) You shouldn't worry about it if you have guest sharing turned off.

Aaron,
Thanks for the info. How do I turn Guest Sharing off?
