Audio not working in Linux
I was successfully able to install Linux Mint on my iMac (Mid 2007 Model). Everything seems to work fine.... except there's no sound.
I tried tinkering with the audio settings yet nothing seems to work. I even tried to update the drivers through Hardware Drivers, as explained in your Magazine. Nothing seems to be working.
I'm not very familiar with Linux right now so I'm having a hard time fixing this on my own. Is there anyway to get the audio to work?
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thomas

Re: Audio not working in Linux
Are you sure you enabled all of the drivers?

Re: Audio not working in Linux
I have a similar problem on my MBA when executing Vista via Boot Camp. I can't hear any sounds and use wi fi. So far I really haven't cared because I rarely use Wintel but it is bothersome. Try plugging in some earphones and see if you can hear anything afterwards and with 'em
