re: unsubscribe
Finally, I made it into the forums. It's been more than a year since I last posted. I requested a new password numerous times but no response. I e-mailed the webmaster a number of times but no response. I did this over a number of days. I tried different user names, different e-mail addresses but no response. I began to think there was something weird happening. Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue I stated receiving e-mails left and right providing new passwords for each and every e-mail I had sent. I did contact a poster here about my problem. I wonder if that solved the problem??
I note that there is an auto-reply to e-mails. I wonder if there are a few days delay before getting a response from the web-master?? Anyway, it was all pretty strange.
Also, is there just one password for this site or does the forum section have its own?
I noticed that where you put your user name, there is a list that shows other user names as well. What is disconcerting is that I found there my full name and that of my partner. How is that possible? Why would my real name be there, where is the security? Obviously, I don't want my name listed.
Also, where on this site can I unsubscribe to this website should I choose?
Appreciate your help on these issues.
Thanks!!
Ed

Re: re: unsubscribe
It's different passwords/usernames for the forums and magazine.
Next time email Alien or Miles for username/password problems on the forums. They're the forum admins. If it's about the magazine portion, email someone from the magazine.

That information is stored on your computer from forms you've filled out previously, and should come up at other sites as well, whenever you are filling out a form field named something like name or username.
This site only knows information which you've directly entered into it, and doesn't have such information.
