YOGGIE

I want carefully and accurately to inform other users of YOGGIE software that installing Snow Leopard 10.6 while the software is installed will result in you reinstalling 10.6 after having to erase your hard drive.

I have contacted YOGGIE and they say they are working on the problem.

However, I think is wrong not to put a support notice out to customers that 10.6 is highly incompatible with their product.

Thank you!

Re: YOGGIE

Hi Aristocat,

I actually contacted Yoggie's support a couple of days and asked them, since 10.6 just came out like a couple of days ago.
They told me that 10.6 is not officially supported yet but an updated driver will be out within days.  Also I checked and their web site does indeed say that 10.6 is not supported yet..
Sounds fair to me..

Personally I'm very happy with my Yoggie and I'm willing to wait a couple of weeks before updating to 10.6.. I hope the Yoggie people will indeed release the new driver soon!!!

BTW - i love your nick. Have you seen the movie "The Aristocrats"? :-)

Re: YOGGIE

Well in all fairness, I thought I would wait a couple of weeks. After a month still no resolution or update to the situation. I spent about 34 hours restoring my macbook pro. Mostly in reentering serial numbers for programs that had to be reinstalled.

I have the little Yoggie card hanging by a string from my desk light. Makes a nice piece of useless artwork.

Someday I might actually use it again. But only on your machine first.

Is it like a hardware-based firewall, but on a USB stick?
