um ... I put in a code every time i use my phone. Frankly I am more concerned about people getting the phone numbers off the phone than I am about random people reading my sms'

I barely use SMS, but will MMS carry a premium over SMS? I am already tethering and decided to stop when I saw my phone bill. Yet my contract states I have the the unlimited data and phone plan with 200 SMS.

the USA AT&T iphone mms will cost the same as sms (and will require a #G or 3GS)... and there is a 5gig limit on tethering (when it becomes available)

That is a small limit. I have probably exceeded that already when tethering to my lappy. I have a guess of about 10 gig over that limit that I have already exceeded.
