Macbook touch.
Beatles edition iPod classic, somehow engraved with their signatures, ala the U2 edition.
That is all.

And maybe a Beatles iPod and/or The Beatles on iTunes finally.
I could see that too ... especially with the new Beatles remasters coming out tomorrow too.

Revised iTunes revenue vectors.

We are live blogging it. So stop by MacLife.com or follow us at Twitter.com/MacLife.
I'm thinking a new touch with a camera, a refreshed iPod family, the debut of iTunes 9, and a Steve Jobs appearance.
I would LOVE an updated/expanded/fairy-dusted Apple TV, but I'm not so confident we'll get one.

Well just merging AppleTV with the iPod Touch OS and Apps would make a interesting device. Just hope they don't do away with larger capacity iPods yet. If you want to store a lot of videos, you can't do it with dinky Touch capacities.

iTunes LP, it’ll include videos, liner notes, credits and other customized content that you used to get when you bought LPs in the past, except now it’s digital.

I wondered if they would try to protect iPhone sales. The new nano sounds badass! I might have to upgrade my 2GB that I use for in the car?

Re: Sept. 9th Media Event. What's gonna be there.
I wanted to go and get a new Touch at my local store today. They don't even have them! The new ones they say offer faster performance but that is about it. Is this faster performance worth waiting for? Is it that significant over the 2nd gen or should I just go ahead and buy a 2nd gen? I know my 1st gen Touch it may stutter at times when playing Need for Speed. What should I do?

Uhhh, I'm going to wait. I'm not buying old technology. I've called 3 local Apple Stores and none can tell me when they will be receiving them, even though their online store says 1-3 business days for shipping.

It sounds like they're getting updated with the new graphics chip in the 3GS (the higher capacity ones anyway). If that's the case, yes, it's totally worth it for games.
It is an odd thing, but every one who disappears is said to be seen at San Francisco. It must be a delightful city, and possess all the attractions of the next world.

Of course they're protecting iPhone sales, even though it's probably unnecessary.
I'm glad the 160GB classic is back. Once it hits the refurb store, I'll get one for the car.

All but the lower end (8 GB touch) use the new chips.

Re: Sept. 9th Media Event. What's gonna be there.
I've called 3 Apple Stores in the last 15 minutes. None of them are picking up the phone. That is lame anyway you look at it. I'm not going to my Apple Store another time - I'll look like I'm stocking the place.
