Is there any reason that FCP wouldnt ask the user about sequence settings when dragging a new clip into the timeline?

On my home computer when I drag a clip onto the timeline it sometimes pops up with a prompt that says "The settings for this clip do not match the sequence settings would you like to change them..."

At work it doesn't ask me this and its a little annoying.
