4GB DDR3 Prices Falling

As this happens it is tempting to grab 2 x 4gb sticks for my MBP.

A lot of HYNIX, but lately SAMSUNG. All 1066MHz.

My question is, should I be aware of any signs that some RAM would be inferior or slow enough to be a worthless upgrade? I would hate to waste $450.

Thanks!

Re: 4GB DDR3 Prices Falling

I prefer Samsung but Hynix are also very good (based on failure rates we see.) I would stick with name brands that carry lifetime warranties and match the two pieces.
