So

So doesn't the new expose and stack features in snow leopard really bode well for a tablet.

Re: So

The stacks, I'd just say they fixed them.

Expose on the dock? I hate it. It's stupid. I can't drag images from the browser to the Photoshop icon. It should be optional.

But yeah, it would be good for a tablet. ONLY for a tablet.

Re: So

I quickly found a workaround for that bug (also occurs in other apps). Drag to desktop then drag to the app from there.

That can't be true.....

Re: So

Not quite. To clarify what he's saying. You can drag actual files (including image files) on your drive to an application icon but not images dragged directly from the browser to an application icon.

Exactly. And I used to do that a lot, but now it doesn't work with Photoshop, but it does work with Apple's Preview. So yeah, now I have to get images from the browser, to the desktop, to Photoshop's icon in the dock.

Re: So

That sucks. Sounds like a bug to me.
Something for the point one updater.

Re: So

Hmm, since Preview is works correctly, it sounds like a new API which Apps like Photoshop and GraphicConverter haven't yet integrated.

I doubt it only because the guy who codes GraphicConverter has always been very fast adapting to new OS releases. GC is usually ready before the new OS V. comes out.
I'm still gonna go with it being a bug. When the  point one updater comes out we will know if I am right or wrong.

You mean the 10.6.2 updater, right?
