classic tab folders hack for mac os x?

i love mac os x but i MISS being able to drag a folder window to the bottom of the window and automatically make a pop up tab to show/hide the window with a click

is there a software mod for the new mac os that will restore this feature?

The most you can do, as far as I know, is put it on right side of the dock, as a stack.
