Re: Screen Sharing Wirelessly??

If your PS3 has a VNC client... but I don't think they do.

And it would kinda suck for video anyway.

don't think you can. There is a wireless HDMI standard that's in the works but probably still a couple of years out.

Re: Screen Sharing Wirelessly??

I don't know of any but that would be sweet.

Sony has a wireless HD video spec that they have (and are supposedly improving) for their Bravia TVs. Talking with the reps at Magnolia, they say it still has issues with signal drops, interference, etc. Maybe in the next 5 years we'll start to see some high quality, reliable wireless HDMI. Once we do, the AppleTV may be less necessary if we could just stream our Macs wirelessly (easily) to play video on our TVs.

Re: Screen Sharing Wirelessly??

Depending on what you're trying to do, there may be solutions other than screen sharing. If you just want to view media from your Mac on the TV via the PS3 you could try an app like this. I haven't used it since I don't have a PS3 but I've used a similar app with my Xbox 360 and it works good.
