Do Pro Tools files worth Logic Express? Is so, how well?

If you mean do Pro Tools session files open in logic ... then the answer is not really.
You can export/bounce the tracks and import those.
You might be successful in exporting to an OMF file that logic (maybe express) should be able to open but you will lose mix levels or effects.

Re: Logic Express ?
Yeah, that didn't make much sense did it?
That's what I meant. Sorry about that. I've been using ProTools & GarageBand for years now and was just wondering whether it would be smart to get Logic Express on my new Mac. So, basically the ProTools session files would be useless? Well except bouncing them of course.
I don't really know a whole lot about Logic Express other than what I've read, but have never actually used it. Kind of thinking I should just buy the newest ProTools.

Re: Logic Express ?
new to mac but not pro tools. your best bet is to bounce it as a complete wave and bring into logic or bounce each track/instrument to a wave and import each.

Re: Logic Express ?
No, not new to Mac, just buying a newer one. I've never used Logic before though.
