Did they find him?
Last I saw, they didn't know where the boy was.

A sibling said he saw the boy get into the craft Thursday morning, raising concerns that the boy may have fallen out of it, authorities said.
Authorities say they think the kid was just hiding somewhere on the ground.
However, numerous eyewitnesses reported seeing "something" fall from the balloon.

Yeah - the problem is people sometimes remember seeing what they didn't actually see.
I hope the kid is just hiding somewhere.

The government had to take him out before it was too late.

The kid is fine - at least physically.

During a news conference at 4 p.m. local time, Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden announced that Heene had been located, alive and well. He had apparently been hiding inside a cardboard box in the attic of the family's garage.

At least he didn't refer to women as chicks, that would have been really bad.

Re: 6 Year Old plunges from DenCo UFO!
I'm just now catching up with all this on CNN. Saw the interview with the entire family on Larry King show. Looks and sounds to me like a major hoax was played on everyone today. This family has been on the Wife Swap reality show twice!

I'm beginning to think it was staged for publicity.
I hate to think that but I think it.

It was such a good, lurid story when that kid was falling to his doom. It's like he's stolen something from us by being alive.

watching the "home video" of the incident and listening to the mother's 911 call, I would say this was staged.

the total tax payer cost for the rescue effort is estimated at 28k. To bad this hoax didn't take place in Oregon, New Hampshire, Hawaii or Maine as those states would charge the family with negligence and seek to recover some or all of the costs
